Dex's Top 50 Tech Companies Hiring in the UK

Roughly 15,000 companies want to hire exceptional software engineers in the UK right now. Funding rounds, valuations, headcount growth: all useful signals, but none of them tell you what it's actually like to build and ship there.

That's why engineers ask different questions.

• Will I be working on interesting and challenging technical problems?
• Can I contribute to and grow with a strong engineering team and broader culture?
• Will I be building a real product that meets an actual customer need?

This is what we filtered for.

The final picks run from global companies with serious UK engineering bases to early-stage London start-ups still in single-digit headcount. Some names you'll expect, and others you won't recognise yet – we suspect that won't hold for long.

No ranking. Just fifty places where great engineers are doing work worth doing. Nearly one third already have roles live on Dex.
