How Dex works
Step 01
Brief Dex on what you actually want.
Share your experience, ambitions and motivations with Dex - we go deeper than a CV to really understand what makes you tick.
Step 02
See the best opportunities that rarely get advertised.
Dex works with many of the worlds leading companies, on senior roles that rarely make it to market, or stay open for long. Dex passively searches and keeps your finger on the market so you never miss the next rocketship.
Step 03
Be the best prepared candidate.
Dex has extensive public and private data about every company that matters - Dex can talk you through what they do, their teams, the culture and what they are looking for. Dex can help you benchmark compensation to make sure you get paid what you deserve. Dex can also help you prep for your interviews, helping you to put your best foot forward.
Step 04
Land the interview.
When you’re represented by Dex, you go to the top of the list - we work closely with hiring teams and make direct introductions on your behalf. No getting lost in the system, no application merry go round. You’re more likely to get an interview through Dex than on your own.

What happens if Dex can't find a match?
What if there isn’t a match for me straight away? You can update your preferences to expand your search, but also Dex works in the background letting you know when new roles that are a great fit open up.
What do you share / how do I control my data?
We do not share any of your data without your express permission.
What information does Dex collect?
Dex uses your LinkedIn profile as a starting point, then learns more through conversation. Your preferences, motivations, and career goals. Your data is never shared with companies without your explicit consent.
How is Dex different from a recruiter?
A traditional recruiter typically works with les than 10 companies - this means you get the most relevant role they have for you, not the most relevant role “for you” Dex knows the whole market which means one port of call and no more redundant conversations repeating the same 5 questions over and over again.
Why do I have to log in with Linkedin?
We use linkedin to authenticate real users, this helps us keep bots off the platform. 🤖
What does signing in with Linkedin give you access to?
Linkedin is very restrictive with your data (And rightly so) all this log in does is piggy back your “real person” authentication. It also lets us read the information contained on your public facing linked profile - it doesn't access your messages, connections or any other personal data.
